— In 2019, 14
thousand 573 tourists visited the historical, cultural and tourist sites of
Nosiri Khusrav district, of which 698 are foreign tourists, — said the chairman
of the above district Nishonzoda Davron at a press conference on February 13,
2019.
It was noted
that the district has favorable opportunities for tourism development, taking
into account the availability of mineral waters, and especially healing
springs. There are 32 historical monuments in the district, the most famous of
which is the Chiluchorchashma shrine. The shrine is located 4 kilometers from
the district center and is famous for its healing waters throughout the country
and beyond. Its clear water is used by the residents of 6 villages through the
canal. The drinking water supply system of the district center is also
constructed from “Chiluchorchashma”. Also, 700 hectares of fields will be
irrigated with this water. Near the shrine there is a small enterprise that in
spring and summer packs the healing water of the spring in containers. Up to
10,000 tourists visit this historic site every summer.
At the same
time, there is a historical site “Beshkent Fortress” in the district, which is
visited by many tourists every year.
